Inside The Camp

Caveclan's camp resides beneath the ground in a network of tunnels and caves. A small underground stream runs through parts of the camp.

Main Cave- The main cave is also the main entrance. A steep slope leads up to an opening in the top if the cave where the cats enter and exit. The main cave is the largest cave with plenty of space for clan to all come and share tongues or have a clan meeting. A ledge that is high above the ground but high enough to jump onto lays on one side of the cave. This is called High Ledge where the clan leader stands in a clan meeting. Scattered around the cave is some moss that is used to lay down on when cats are in this cave. A shallow dip lay another corner where fresh-kill is stored. On the ceiling of the cave lays rocks that light the cave and run all through the tunnels and caves giving light to the cats.

Leader's Cave- The leader's cave is one of the smaller caves. All that is stored inside the cave is a moss bed for the leader. A small boulder that had fallen moons ago covers part of the entrance to give privacy to the leader.

Medicine Cat's Cave- The medicine cat's cave is almost as large as the Main Cave. The stream runs through this cave giving fresh water to the sick. Moss beds are spread all around this cave with two special ones near the back for the medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice. A small tunnel leads out of the cave and into the Herb storage cave.

Herb Storage Cave- The herb storage cave is as its name suggests. It is used to store all the herbs that the medicine cats need and keeps them safe from unneeded patients.

Warrior's Cave- The warriors cave is also one of the largest caves. Its is large with moss beds covering the floor. Ones more, the stream runs through this cave giving fresh water to the working warriors.

Apprentice's Cave- The apprentice den lays right across from the warriors and is a smaller cave fit for no more than 10-15 apprentices at a time. If there is more than the extra cave is used.

Nursery- The nursery is in one another large cave. This cave's walls are covered in moss and the bottom is sand. The entrance is also partially covered with a small rock fall that had fallen moons ago.

Elder's Cave- The elder's cave is probably the second to smallest. It is small with moss padded floors and a small spot in the roof that brings in light and heat for the elder's to bask in.

Extra Cave- The extra cave is used for many purposes. In Leaf-bare and leaf-fall it is used to store prey though in new-leaf and green-leaf, it can be used for warriors and apprentices who can't fit in their dens. As well, it can be used to hold prisoners or guests.

Exits- There are five exits. One in about each corner of their territory for east access and one in the center.

The Stream- The stream is a small underground water source that runs through two of the caves, the medicine cat cave and warrior's cave.
