Welcome to Stars Beneath My Paws!

We're new and so we need some high ranking cats to get this roleplay off the ground. The current open positions are:

Caveclan:
Leader
(Deputy will be chosen by this rank)

Whisperclan:
Medicine Cat
(Medicine Cat Apprentice will be chosen by this rank)

Mistclan:
Leader
Medicine Cat
(Deputy and Medicine Cat Apprentice will be chosen by these ranks)

Emberclan:
Medicine Cat
(Medicine Cat Apprentice will be chosen by this rank)

To apply simply tell us what position you most want and post a roleplay sample below. We are looking for quality, not quantity. If you get the position an admin will post to notify you and then you can go ahead and create a character application for the cat you want to hold that rank.

LEADERS! You will be in charge of holding ceremonies to move kits to apprentices and apprentices to warriors. You should hold a ceremony session at least once a month to keep people moving forward. Kits can be moved up after a month, OR anytime after a month at their player's discretion. Apprentices may be moved up after one month OR after they have had 3 training sessions and been to a gathering OR anytime after a month at their player's discretion. You will also be in charge of picking a deputy that will be able to do the following:

Deputies will be in charge of sorting out the patrols with patrol sign up threads every day. They must have at least 4 warriors on a patrol before they can send them out. They must sort out where they will go (if border patrol) and must have a sign up for Dawn, Sun-high, and Dusk for both hunting and border patrols. They must be very active! As do all high ranks!

You will have to make a thread in your clan for ceremony requests so you know who wants their cats to move up!

RP EXAMPLE :

It was sunny out. The prey was already awake looking for food. The wind whistled as a sleek-furred brown and white tabby she-cat dashed across the territory of her clan. Her ears were pricked up and her yellow eyes were scanning her surrondings as she ran. The brown and white tabby's eyes locked on a rabbit, a plump one too. The she-cat crouched, tail straight as she took light steps towards her prey. Something must have startled the rabbit because it had began to sprint away. The brown and white tabby dashed after it, claws outstretched ready to leap and make the kill. The she-cat launched herself into the air, attempting to land on the rabbit, sinking her teeth into it's neck. She sat up straight and licked her paw before looking at her catch. Her mouth was watering. The rabbit would feed some of her clan but not all of it. The tabby sighed, tail twitching. As she walked home, the tabby caught a cat scent. "Hello?" She murmered, ear twitching. There was no one there. "Must be my imagination." The she-cat muttered.

Hi! I would like to do a leader for Mistclan, if that is ok. So, I guess here's a sample!

Oceanstar(Maybe not his name, but) tread out of the leader's den and stretched. Oh...Five cracks later he was up and ready. What to do? Of course, as leader he would have to get the others up and patrols running, but a leader couldn't run on that alone. Seeing as no one would be up for at least a few minutes,h e snuck out of camp. No one would notice his absence. He prowled through the trees, his blue eyes flashing. The wild, it made him feel like a real cat. A great hunter...He shook his head. What an imagination!

Winter had been sitting on a bench, silently thinking to herself, while at the same time petting Blizzard. Her Kneazle had softer fur than normal for a Kneazle, making her more distinct. The lion's tail softly swished, before blizzard jumped off Winter's lap and migrated to a place out of sight. Winter was not worried, Blizzard, like all Kneazle, had a high intellectual level.

At the sound of the leader talking Winter stood up, waiting for Pheonixto finish before she herself replied. "A group of students from different groups would look odd. And if we were to be continuously roaming that area suspicion would arise." Winter spoke, giving her words a moment to sink in before continuing. " And although I do agree with you, Aisling, it has the potential to be risky." The female finished.

After finishing she sat down once more, and her hand briefly flitted over her wand. A rare combination it was created of Cherry wood, and had a core of Dragon Heartstrings. It was a very rare combination, and a very dangerous one at that. But Winter had quickly grown accustomed to its deadly power. The day she had picked it a bolt of lightning had spring forth from it and blackened the opposing wall. But after practice she perfected controlling it, and it had seemed as though she had proved herself to be worthy of the wand when she quickly tamed it.

RP Example:

Dull yellow eyes scanned the brush before him, in search of herbs. Rowanfang's stock was getting a bit too low for his liking. His paws carried him forward through the forest, until he got to the charred, skeletal part of EmberClan's territory. His fur was standing on end; the place itself made him very uneasy. Slowly, the ginger tom padded into the ashy part of what used to be a clearing. Maybe something has sprouted up by now. He thought hopefully to himself, trying to encourage his paws to carry him through what was once a beautiful forest. His pink nose to the ground, Rowanfang caught the familiar scent of catmint. Excitedly, he followed the scent until he laid his eyes on a small, but visible patch of the herb. It was too little and immature to pick leaves from, but hope made his stomach leap. This meant the forest wasn't all dead, and that they would have herbs to fight a possible outbreak of whitecough by the time winter came around.
