It was quiet, except for the quiet plinking of water, falling to the floor of the cave that she was exiting,

That sound soon vanished, as she broke free of the darkness of the caves in which she slept and lived.

She continued padding slowly, taking in the territory she owned, and her clan owned as she ruled them.

That is, until her white ear twitched as she heard the sound of an approacher and turned to face them.

“But loyalty isn't rooted in friendship. It's much stronger than that. It comes from being born and raised under the same sky, from walking the same path as our ancestors, and from sharing the warrior code. With this life I commit you to upholding the warrior code, whatever challenges you might face. This is the wisdom of our ancestors, all our traditions distilled. Trust the code to lead you along the right path.”

Turtlecloud stalked out of the bushes. Right in front of her stood her leader Eclipsestar. The beautiful tortoiseshell she-cat dropped her bundle of chervil that she had been collecting. ``Hello Eclipsestar`` Turtlecloud dipped her head respectively. Her soft amber eyes slid over the black and white she-cat. Her tail flicked and she sat waiting for a response from her leader.

``I dream of cats with stars in their fur.``

The black and white she cat turned wholely to the attractive tortoiseshell, before speaking. "Ahh, Hello Turtlecloud. Get some herbs that you needed?" Eclipsestar asked, before looking over the other she-cat herself.

Her eyes, one a startling bright yellow of an owl, the other a calming bright blue of the sea as it rolls through its waves, took in the other cat as well. She had a herb in her mouth, it was Chervil she believed.
