We are an up and coming Warrior Cats roleplaythat focuses on four clans, Caveclan, Whisperclan, Mistclan, and Emberclan. These four clans have lived in peace for many moons with a few border skirmishes, but there has not been a battle since the Great Battle between all four clans. Peace can't last. We are looking for roleplayers of all skill levels and we want to foster a welcoming community where everyone can hone their writing skills.

Oceanstar sat down with a fish, and looked around. The camp seemed sort of empty, but maybe that was just his opinion. He tore into the scales, and scrapes some away to get out the meat. No matter how long he stayed there, he still couldn't stand scales. Biting into the meat, he sighed. Ah....He loved fish. No matter what, he knew he always would. Maybe, maybe he could share tongues with someone. He felt sort of lonely, sitting there all by himself...

Tawnyberry had been sitting alone, gulping down a small fish. The dilute calico stared at her paws, doing nothing. There was nothing to do in camp. Tawnyberry then scanned her surrondings with a pair of bright yellow eyes before fixing them onto Oceonstar the leader of the clan. The dilute calico quietly dipped her head to the tom-cat before leaning down to tear off flesh from her juicy meal. But then she thought about something. Should I go over to to him? The dilute calico asked herself.
Tawnyberry gulped down the remainder of her meal before standing up to shake out her long-furred pelt. The dilute calico sighed and scanned the camp with her yellow eyes once more.
Oceanstar sighed and took another bite. After finishing off half of it, he sighed again. Wow, he sounded so sad and dull...He scanned the camp. A little while away Tawnyberry stood up, and he smiled. She was one of his favorite cats, quiet. You didn't find much of that. He dipped his head back at her and called, "Hey!" It wasn't his usual reply to anything, but today he would go out of his way to seem friendly.

Silverleaf stretched forward and let out a big yawn. Her muscles were sore from hunting that morning, crouched beside the streams in attempt to catch a few fish. Silverleaf was not the best hunter by any means but for some reason she had been chosen to be on the patrol. She had managed to snag a fish and two water voles before heading back to camp, thankfully. She was now crouched over the very same fish that she had triumphantly caught. Tearing into the fresh-kill she scanned the camp for her brother, Oakflight, who was no where to be seen. Letting out an annoyed sigh, the pretty silver tabby tried not to think about how his shenanigans and lack of interest constantly embarrassed her.
Oakflight
The young golden tom was lounging around in his nest, still dreaming from the night before. In his dream, Oakflight was fishing, and then out of nowhere, the stream turned much larger, and swallowed him up. He thrashed around the water, trying to get a hold onto something, anything. His head ducked underwater, and he awoke with a start, fur on end and tail fluffed up. His claws dug into earth as he whipped his head back and forth, at last recognizing his surroundings. Smoothing his chest fur with a few licks, Oakflight left and den and sat down next to his sister, yawning leisurely while she sat with an annoyed face beside him.
He had finished his meal and was watching Silverleaf intently. Should he go over? He knew how snappy she was, but should that get in the way? Deciding not to let it bother him, he got up and padded over. "Hello Silverleaf, Oakflight!" He called. Although, he really just wanted Silverleaf. But, he could at least be friendly. "So, how are you two?" He asked kindly.

Silverleaf eyed Greytail for a moment before responding. She still wasn't in that great of a mood from her hunting patrol but there was no need to claw the tom's ears off just for speaking to her. "I'm fine." She replied, trying not to sound too cold with her response. "Well now that you ask, the air does feel a bit dry this morning, but I'll get over it." Oakflight meowed, nearly cutting off Silverleaf's response at the last minute. Her ears flattened in annoyance. "Would you like to eat with us?" Silverleaf interjected, trying to ignore her littermate's boisterous personality. Her claws dug into the earth while she tried not to let Oakflight get to her. It was too early in the day to be able to deal with him.
Greytail Greytail nodded happily. "I'd love to, thank you Silverleaf." He said eagerly. He quickly got a small fish and, smiling, dragged it over. "So, what have you two been up to today?" He asked, biting into it while keeping his eyes on Silverleaf. This was progress. He was sitting besides her, and talking at the same time. That never happened before.

Tawnyberry looked at Oceanstar's, a small, shy smile spreading across her calico patched face. The dilute calico groomed her fluffy pelt before speaking. "Hello Oceanstar." Tawnyberry greeted, tail curling around her soft white paws. She did not want to annoy the leader by speaking more and asking questions.
The dilute calico yawned revealing spiky white teeth. She closed her eyes and sighed
Oceanstar purred lightly. "Hello Tawnyberry." He said quietly. He didn't say anything else, they just sat in a comfortable silence. He had the decency to sit up, and looked up at the sky. Huh, how nice THIS kind of silece was. Nothing like the lonely kind.

Still a bit suspicious at Greytail's friendliness, Silverleaf continued to eyeball him while he ate. At last, she bent her head down to take a bite out of her fish, still side-eyeing the dark-furred tom every once in a while. Most of the Clan respected her, but was not all that friendly towards her because of her attitude. She really didn't mind, so long as they listened to her when she gave orders during patrols and such. "What are you playing at?" She accused of him, narrowing her eyes. She could feel Oakflight shift uncomfortably next to her. He wasn't into conflict or confrontation like Silverleaf thrived on.
He blinked. "What do you mean?" He asked innocently. "I'm not playing at anything. Except maybe this fish. Bigger than I thought it'd be...." He pawed at it, knowing full and well that he wasn't supposed to play with his food. And he kept going, once lowering his head to eat some. But, he kept his eyes on Silverleaf. She looked like she was about to slice his head off. He nearly choked on his food at the thought. Hopefully Oakflight wouldn't let that happen. Goodness, Greytail should have been kinder to that cat.

The silver tabby she-cat looked at him for a moment longer until she let her fur lay flat. "I suppose." She meowed, bending her head down to finish off the fresh-kill she was slowly digging into. She was still suspicious of him but she decided to see where this was going, thus not letting her guard down just yet.
Silverleaf looked up at the sky and saw that the sun was at it's highest point. "Perhaps we can ask Oceanstar if we can get together a border patrol." She mewoed, looking at Greytail in an almost challenging way. Without an answer, Silverleaf got up and padded towards their leader, seeing that he was sharing a meal with Tawnyberry still. "Sorry to interrupt Oceanstar, but would you like me to gather a border patrol for sunhigh?" She mewed respectfully, dipping her head to him.
Oceanstar Oceanstar blinked, and smiled. "If you can gather up enough warriors..." he said. He didn't know why Silverleaf looked so fierce, but he decided not to argue. Something horrible might happen to him, and nine lives might not be enough. He looked around. The camp still looked a bit empty, but Oceanstar was pretty sure tat if anyone could make cats come out of wherever they were hiding, it was Silverleaf.
Greytail Greytail's eyes widened, and he watched Silverleaf stalk off to Ocean. He looked at Oakflight to his sister, and back. "Haha," he laughed nervously, his left eye twitching a bit. "Hehe, please don't tell me she just did that." He didn't know if he should jump around like an excited kit or go bury himself six feet deep. "Please, please tell me she didn't just do that..."
